Psychiatry

Confidential assessment and treatment for mental-health concerns — an unhurried first conversation, a clear explanation, and a plan you agree to, for individuals and families.

Consultations are with Dr. Dhiman Ranjan Bharadwaj and Dr. Aritra Mondal (MD, Psychiatry). Any bloodwork to rule out physical causes runs in our own NABL-accredited lab — one private record across every visit.

  • Anxiety, panic, low mood and depression
  • Sleep problems, stress and burnout
  • OCD, phobias and de-addiction support

Good to know

Psychiatry FAQs

Common questions before your first visit.

Do I need a referral to see a psychiatrist?

No. You can book a consultation directly, and everything you share is kept confidential.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Any past reports or prescriptions, a list of medication you’re currently taking, and recent test results if you have them.

Can my blood tests be done the same day?

Yes. Bloodwork and routine diagnostics are run in-house, so most tests are done on the same visit and don’t need a second trip.

Will I have to take medication?

Not always. Treatment may be talk therapy, medication, or both — the psychiatrist discusses the options with you before anything starts.

How do I get my reports?

Reports go online as soon as they’re ready and stay linked to your ArsianCare record for your next appointment.

Is Psychiatry available at both centres?

Yes, at both the Barasat and Bidhan Nagar centres — the same doctors and the same lab systems.
