General Medicine

First-visit care for everyday illness — a proper history, an examination and a clear plan, with in-house tests done on the same visit when they’re needed.

Consultations are with Dr. Mrinmoy Dhar, Dr. Avijit Naskar and Dr. Sumit Bhattacharya. Bloodwork runs in our own NABL-accredited lab and is reviewed by the doctor before it reaches you — one record across every visit.

  • Fever, cough, cold and infections
  • Body ache, weakness and fatigue
  • Blood pressure, blood sugar and thyroid checks

General Medicine FAQs

Common questions before your first visit.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Both work. You can book a slot in advance or walk in, and we’ll fit you into the next available consultation.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Any past reports or prescriptions, a list of medication you’re currently taking, and recent test results if you have them.

Can my blood tests be done the same day?

Yes. Bloodwork and routine diagnostics are run in-house, so most tests are done on the same visit and don’t need a second trip.

When will I be referred to a specialist?

If your problem needs focused care, the doctor refers you to the right department — and your notes and tests carry across on one record.

How do I get my reports?

Reports go online as soon as they’re ready and stay linked to your ArsianCare record for your next appointment.

Is General Medicine available at both centres?

Yes, at both the Barasat and Bidhan Nagar centres — the same doctors and the same lab systems.
